Xylotrupes gideon, also referred to as the brown rhinoceros beetle or Siamese rhinoceros beetle, is a massive scarab beetle found in Southeast Asia. Males are identified by their impressive horns, used in battles for mating privileges. These beetles are renowned for their lustrous, deep hue and are capable of emitting a hissing noise when agitated. Expertly encased in a 9”x9” frame, making for a stunning display of natural beauty.
