Megalorrhina harrisi haroldi is a brilliant flower beetle from East Africa, belonging to the scarab family (Scarabaeidae). Its metallic body gleams in shades of green, gold, and copper, often marked with lighter spots or streaks that highlight its jewel-like appearance. Males are larger and may show broader features, while females are slightly smaller and more compact. Adults feed on fruit, sap, and flowers, while the larvae develop in rotting wood.
