Platerodrilus, also known as Dulticola, is a genus of Lycidae beetles found in Indonesia's rainforest floor. While adult males resemble typical beetles, females retain their larval form. They feed on decomposing wood, fungi, and algae slime, and this specimen is an adult female encased in a 5" x 5" frame.
