Monarch & Tiger Swallowtail

Regular price $180.00

This perfect pairing couldn’t have been made anywhere but North America!

Danaus plexippus is a famous North American butterfly with vibrant orange, black, and white wings. They are renowned for their yearly migrations, traveling thousands of miles from Canada and the United States to overwintering sites in Mexico and California. Monarchs are easily identifiable by their eye-catching colors, serving as a warning to predators of their poisonous nature.

Papilio glaucus are prominent and widespread in the eastern United States and Canada, featuring stunning yellow wings adorned with bold black stripes. The females also exhibit a rare blue and black coloration. These butterflies play a crucial role as pollinators, with their larvae feeding on a variety of trees such as tulip trees and wild black cherry, while the adults drink nectar from an array of beautiful flowers.

Crafted with utmost care and precision, these exquisite butterflies are carefully encased in a 9"x9" frame for both preservation and display.
