Archaeoprepona demophon, also known as the banded king shoemaker or demophon shoemaker, is a species belonging to the Nymphalidae family. It is commonly found in Mexico, Central America, the West Indies, and parts of northern South America. This butterfly is usually located in the edges of forest canopy and subcanopy. An exceptional example can currently be seen in this 6”x6” frame.
