Morpho godarti

Regular price $150.00

Morpho godarti, also known as Godart's morpho, is a species of butterfly native to Peru and Bolivia. It was named after the French entomologist Jean Baptiste Godart and is just one of over 80 species of Morpho butterflies found in South America, with some species also inhabiting Mexico and Central America. The name "morpho" is thought to stem from the butterflies' ability to change shape while in flight. This stunning specimen is perfectly preserved and presented in a 9”x9” frame.
