Chrysina woodii is a species of shining leaf chafer in the family of beetles known as Scarabaeidae. They can range from the Southwestern edge of the US to as far south as Ecuador. And their ideal habitats are in pine, juniper, or pine-oak forests. They are typically nocturnal, but come readily to lights.
