Death’s Head Hawk Moth

Regular price $150.00

The Acherontia genus consists of three species, including Acherontia atropos, also known as the African death's-head hawkmoth. This species, named after the distinct skull-like pattern on its thorax, is native to southern Europe and Africa and is often linked to superstitions. Despite this, it poses minimal danger and only causes minor disturbances to beehives and crops. This preserved specimen, displayed in a compact 6"x6" frame, is a coveted item for collectors.
