The Nearctic moth Actias luna, commonly known as the American moon moth, belongs to the Saturniidae family and Saturniinae subfamily, which are known as giant silk moths. As winged adults, they have a lifespan of less than 10 days.This particular specimen comes enclosed in a 9”x9” frame.
