With a remarkable wingspan of 12 cm, it displays mesmerizing blue wings beautifully outlined in bold black. The upper wings shimmer with radiant blue hues, thanks to iridescent scales that captivatingly reflect the light, while the underside features a delicate brown adorned with clever eyespots for camouflage. This magical species is part of the expansive morpho butterfly family, which boasts over 80 varieties found mainly in these lush regions.
