White Morpho, also known as Morpho polyphemus, is a rare species of butterfly that stands out for its unique white color. It is usually found in Mexico and Central America, and has been spotted as far south as Costa Rica. Interestingly, these butterflies seem to transform their shape as they fly, which might explain the origin of the name "morpho." This particular specimen is carefully preserved and presented in a 9"x9" frame.
